Excellent Walnut Creek Meet 11/22 & 23
Nov 22-23, 2008 (Walnut Creek Meet)
About 30 CDST swimmers participated in last weekend swim meet and swam to outstanding times. Great improvement and personal best were achieved by all our CDST swimmers. and following are just some great swims at the Walnut Creek Auabears meet:
Kevin Cui, age 9, our first Far Western qualifier from our team had a great meet again, won 3rd place in 50 backstroke (36.25), 5th place in 100 backstroke (1.17:00) 5th in 50 butterfly (37.04), the 6th place 100 IM (1:19.35) in 10 & under age group all divisions.
Suri Yu, age 7, our young star, won 3rd in 25 yard breaststroke, 4th place in both 100 free (1:49.56 & 25 back (27.08), way to go, our young star…
Ryan Li, age 7, first time swam in a USA swimming meet, took 7th place in 8 * under all divisions.
Misha Galant, age 11, first time competed in USA swimming meet, won 5th in 50 yard freestyle (28.08) and 6th place in 200 freestyle (2:22.17) in 11-12 age group all divistion. Great races!!
Michael Sui, age 12, won 5th place in all division in 50 freestyle (28.01) still kept the team record and the fastest swimmer on our swim team.
