The Last Swim Meet of 2008 - Pleasanton Meet Dec 13 -14
Although the weather was cold, performances of our swimmers were hot. Over 40 CDSS swimmers participated and swam to outstanding times in the last meet of 2008 in Pleasanton. Although the results are too numerous to report in total, the following are just few highlights:
Zhao, DE Zheng
, 8, first time participating in the US swimming meet, won 1st in 50 breaststroke (52.49, new A time). Wow!
Vega, Jordan A,
11, swam personal best times in all 8 events with many new A times, 1st in 50 free, 200 IM & 400 IM.
Jessica He
, 9, swam best times with new A times in all 3 events. Took 1st place in 100 IM and 100 Free.
Cui, Kevin
, 9, swam personal bests, took 1st in 200 IM (2:48.20)
Joly, Madellyn L
, 8, won 1st place in 100 Free.
Zhou, Alexander
Y, 8, won 1st in 50 free (40.18), 100 IM (
1:40.69)
Emily Wang
, 10, took 1st in 50 free.
