Zone 2 Championship Meet
CDST had a great Zone 2 Championships meet last weekend. We had about 40 swimmers in the 2 day event. From the results of the meet, it looks like the swimmers like the pool even the weather was not perfect. The competition was fun and CDST won 10th place finish as a team with 910.5 points.
A huge round of applause for the Girls and Goys 8 and under relay teams, both had 1st place finishes in their relay events. Jordan Vega picked up his first Far Western cut, and Kevin Cui also picked up new Far Western cuts in 100 IM.

Catherine Chen, Dan-Anh Hoang, Arielle Acosta, Katherine Cui, Ryan Li, Clayton Lau, Alex Zhou, Eric Wu, Eric Li, Ryan Li, Diana Brightwell, and others all picked up their new A times.
For individual high point award: Alex won 5th place, Eric Wu was in 8th place, and Clayton Lau was in 10th place in 8 and under; Madelly Joy won 12th place, and Iris Bai was 13th place winner in girls 8 and under. Kevin Cui was ranked 12th place in 9-10 and Jordan Vega was 11th place winter over all in 11-12 age group.
