Great AIA Swim Meet and Halloween Potluck Event and 10/31 & 11/1

There were 60 plus CDST swimmers participated AIA swim meet at Chabot College last weekend. Too numerous to report in total, following are just some great swims at Alameda Island Aquatics Meet:
Suri Yu, age 8, won 1st place in 25 free (15.29), 25 breaststroke (21.49), and second place in 50 freestyle (32.45), 100 free (1:14.64), 50fly (40.00), 100 IM (1:24.68) plus 3nd place in 50 breaststroke (45.16), 25 fly (17.87).
Catherine Chen, age 7, took first place in 50yd butterfly (39.96)
Jessica He, 10, placed 2nd in 50 free (29.64), 100 free (1:05.30) and 3rd place in 100 back (1:16.21), 100 breaststroke (1:28.47),
Catherine Ha, age 11, took 3rd in 400 IM (5’19”41)
Kevin Cui, 1st place winner in 50 free (29.77), 50 back (33.84), 100 back (1:12.55), 100 back(1:12.55), 50 breast (39.03), 100fly (1:19.43) and took 2nd in 100 breast (1:24.41), 50fly (32.54), 200 IM (2:38.47)
Christopher Ha, age 10, finished 2nd in 100 free (1:04.64)
Jordan Vega, age 12, won 3rd in 50 100 free (58.10)
Misha Galant, age 12, took 2nd in 200 free (2:06.71)

Congratulations to all our silver group swimmers who all received personal best times and most of them received their first new A time: Keerthana Raghuraman, Meghna Nair, Andrea Wong, James He, Nithin Tatikonda, Cynric Ye, Rachel Raiyani, Nicole Ruedger, Sarah Young, Kunal Agarwal, Jason Lin.
Thanks to all parents for participating the Halloween Potluck event last Saturday at the meet. It was an incredible team event ever.
