NEW RECORD Has Been Set at Terrapins Senior II T&F Meet

Elite Group swimmers did well at the Terrapins Senior II T&F Meet last weekend at Concord. Many personal best was set at the meet, and all swimmers improved compared to their previous performance in October.

After a rough season start and mediocre meet performance in September and October, Elite Group swimmers worked extra hard at practice last month. Many elite swimmers got their reward as the best time for their events. However, mid-distance events, race details, and techniques still need to be shaped for the upcoming December championships. 

Edward Huang shaved 0.8 seconds in his 100 Backstroke and broke the Pacific Swimming 15-16 Age Group Short Course Record with a new time, 48.04. He now has both Short Course Yard and Long Course Meter Pacific Swimming Age Group Records in 100 Backstroke.
