2022 Winter Age Group Championship Meet Summary

Winter Greeting Team!  December 2nd-4th, CDST attended the 2022 Winter Age Group Championships in Santa Clara.  Swimmers 14 & Under, who qualified for Short-Course Individual Events, & Relays performed their best racing & showed how hard they’ve been working in practices.  On Friday, CDST began the WAG Championship Meet with some great Individual Events & for the first time, participated in the Mixed (Girls & Boys) 200 Medley & Freestyle Relays.  Overall, CDST was well represented in many events, truly showing how much we’ve grown as a Team.  Swimmers keep focusing your attention to details, & keep up your good work ethic in practice, so we can continue to shine at Far Western Championships.  Coaches are looking forward to seeing more swimmers qualifying for the 2023 Summer Age Group Championships as CDST continues to excel competitively as a Team. Hello Parents & Swimmers,

Incredible job to all the CDST participants who competed in the Winter Age Group Championships. On Saturday, it was wet & cold, but that did not stop your progress or desire to achieve your goals. I was amazed by your races & was proud of your efforts. CDST did a great job in the prelims, but we came back for finals determined , & it showed.  I would like to thank all the Swimmers who had the opportunity to participate in the Relays. We will continue to strive for success in our relay groups to create cohesion, to better ensure our ability to drop time at the Zone Two Championships. I would like to remind everyone that even if you did not achieve a Winter Age Group Championship time, you still have many upcoming opportunities. If you are having a hard time reaching your goals, please speak with your group coach or seek out the appropriate training buddy who can provide support. Please continue with the hard work & remember excellence is not given, it is earned!  Amazing job CDST!  I want to give a few shout outs:
