CDST Winter 2025-2026 Newsletter

Anna Gainey-Vejar

Hello Swimmers and Families,

CDST started 2026 off in great form and fashion, and as a Team we focused on swimming after a well deserved Winter Break.  Many Swimmers continued Swimming and doing Dryland to keep in shape and the hard work and dedication has shown in CDST’s successful month of January.  This past weekend CDST placed 3rd in the Large Team Division at Zone 2’s Age Group Championships.  Congrats to Vanessa Kuo for winning High Point in her age group.  A very special recognition to all the CDST Swimmers working towards being selected to represent CDST and Zone 2 at this year’s 2026 ALL Star Meet.  The team is rooting for you ALL, so keep up the hard work!

We do have a busy Meet Schedule for the next couple of Months, so Swimmers and families please continue to work hard and stay focused on our goals for the upcoming C/B/A, and Championship Meets.  Just a few reminders to stay on top of communications, as well as CDST & USA Swimming rules and regulations.  It truly takes a focused and disciplined team to be successful.  Continue to trust the process and have a positive mindset.  Parents, thank you for continuing to feed our Swimmers healthy, nutritious food, and keeping them prepared for a successful experience in Swimming.

December was also a busy Month with two Swimming Meets, and our Annual Christmas Parties.  A special THANK YOU to all the Parents and Coaches who helped to organize, prepare, and deliver a special Team Event for our Swimmers.  Below are the 2025 CDST Christmas Party Funny Award recipients from our Age Groups:
