TWILIGHT MEET THURS. OCT 30- As our FALL LEAGUE session comes to an end we will again have our session ending Twilight Meet available to all Fall League participants. The Twilight Meet is for learning, fun and practice. It is THE practice on Thursday October 30, our final day of the session. CLICK HERE to enter the meet. If you need more help, click our instructions on HOW TO ENTER A MEET USING SPORTS ENGINE. If you will be participating, allow extra time for parking because Boo-nanza will be going on in Mills Park at the same time. Look for overflow parking at the library across the street AND enter the pool via the side door because the pool's main entrance will be closed due to Boo-nanza
OUR LEAGUE STRUCTURE HAS CHANGED - The program is now ability based. If your child swam with Tigersharks League prior to this session you may have noticed some changes this session. Tigersharks changed the structure of our League recreational team on September 1, 2025. we used to group the participants more by age than ability, which often led to advancing some participants beyond their ability to maintain a good stroke or propoer form.
The new structure is objective based Since Tigersharks League program seeks to allow recreational participants to develop a foundation tthat will set them up for success in sanctioned competitions with Tigersharks USA Swimming club. Participants in our top tier Pre-Team Sharks transtion into the USA program after demonstrating proficiency with objectives. We will invite your athlete to the USA team when your athlete has acquired the objectives of our top Pre-Sharks League level. Please talk to Coach Jim if you are interested in transitioning into our competitive program before mastering all league levels.

HOLIDAY LEAGUE TRYOUTS FOR NEW ATHLETES - If you are already in FALL LEAGUE you will not need to tryout again. Tryouts for new particpants are available via appointment with Coach Jim.
RUNNING OF THE SHARKS - WE NEED YOU! - If you wish to support our organization, Tigersharks annual fundraiser the Running of the Sharks will be held on Nevada Day, October 31, 2025 from 10am-1pm. League participants may do Running of the Sharks by swimming in the event and raising pledges. Parent(s) are encouraged to attend and support their athlete. If your athlete(s) will be doing pledges per lap please make sure to bring along a family member or friend to be their tally sheet counter.
