The Far Westerns Championships are the most prestigious of age group competitions held by Pacific Swimming. This past weekend, teams came from thousands of miles around – some coming from even New York, Canada, Mexico – to compete at the meet in Concord. Tri Valley Aquatics brought seven swimmers to the five-day meet: Hannah Bergh, Marissa Bergh, Connor Daly, Chris Dotson, Chris Jhong, Brent Reed, and Natalie Tang. To make the finals that swam later in the day, swimmers had to post times in the top nine for their event...

Chris Dotson has posted fastest time in morning prelims in his 100 Freestyle and later in the afternoon finals wins his first Far Westerns Championships title in that event. His team mate Brent Reed takes 4th place in last night finals. Congrats!

Winning 1st place in 50, 100, 200 freestyle and scoring top 8 in two other events 100, 200 back. Marissa B. has been awarded High Point winner in 15-16 age group at Junior Olympics Championships.

TVA's first appearance at International level meet was a success! 5 best times out of 6 swims. Chris Dotson has swam 3 events and all at his life time best (50, 100 Free, 100 Fly) Marissa Bergh has swam 2 life time best out of 3 events (100 Free, 200 Back and 50 Free) Great way to represent your team!

Claire Suen and Chris Jhong has been awarded with High Point Winners Trophies at our first TVA travel meet over the Memorial Day weekend in Nevada! 17 TVA swimmers represented our team at our first out of state travel meet. TVA took 7th place at Combined team scores. Large number of Team Records, JO's, FW's and personal best times has been achieved by our swimmers! Great way to represent your team.
