Avery leads Bremerton Y swim team
Bremerton Kitsap Family YMCA's Sarah Avery won six individual events at the Dive Into Spring swimming meet last weekend at the North Kitsap Community pool.
Avery, competing in the 13-and-over category, won the 100 freestyle, 200 free, 50 free, 50 breaststroke, 100 breaststroke and 200 individual medley. She was also second in the 200 breast.
Sister Leah Avery won the 200 butterfly and finished second in the 100 free, 100 fly and 200 IM in the same category.
Bremerton Y's Lowell Fahs won the 13-over 100 free and was second in the 200 IM. Brother Tyler Fahs was first in the 100 backstroke, also in the 13-over category.
