Team Building & Dryland for the Age Group swimmers taught them the value of listening, teaming, competition and stretching. Our favourite quote of the afternoon: "you made this happen! We couldn't have managed to succeed without you - you saw the opportunity!" [one swimmer to the other] - the best part?! Y Nationals the “main event/prelims” has a limit of 4 individual events throughout the 5 days, which limits participating swimmers. Time trial is a meet w/in this meet. Many swimmers compete in both prelims and time trials. All of our BYST swimmers were participating in time trials every day as well as prelims and finals. No wonder they were exhausted. Bremerton YMCA second at Fall Festival October 8, 2014 Annette Griffus The Bremerton YMCA Swim Team, which found itself without a home pool while the Jarstad Aquatic Center was being remodeled this summer, finished second at the Fall Festival Swim Meet in Hoquiam. The meet, which was hosted by Grays Harbor YMCA, was the kickoff to the 2014-15 season. Grays Harbor won the team title, followed by Bremerton. Bremerton won the meet last year.
