The Bremerton YMCA swim team earned its biggest honor in the last three years as it won the team Division II title at the YMCA Regional Swim Meet in Boise, Idaho, last weekend. Bremerton, which sent five swimmers three years ago, sent 31 participants and finished fourth regardless of category. Bremerton YMCA Swim Team’s Sam Lingenbrink remained undefeated in YMCA competitions this year thanks to a strong effort at the Washington State YMCA Championships last weekend at the King County Aquatics Center in Federal Way. The club, which qualified swimmers into 12 of 14 event finals, finished second in the boys’ team title while the girls were third.
