Lingenbrink debuts at YMCA Nationals

Samantha Lingenbrink made her debut at the YMCA Short Course National championships with a solid time on Wednesday.
The Bremerton YMCA swim team member finished fifth in her preliminary heat in the 100-yard backstroke at the Greensboro (N.C.) Aquatic Center. She touched the wall in 58.70, a bit off her seeding time of 58.63.
Lingenbrink and her teammates in the 200 free relay, Alicia Carlin, Samantha Carlin, Sarah Avery and Leah Avery, will swim again on Friday.
