Bremerton YMCA swim team wins at invite
Danielle Bodlorick and Nicholas Carlin each earned high-point honors for the Bremerton YMCA swim team at the April Invitational 12 & under pentathlon last Saturday at Peninsula High School in Purdy.
The short-course meet required swimmers to compete in all five events and scores were based on the fastest total cumulative times.
Carlin, 10, won all five events for a cumulative time of 4 minutes, 39.66 seconds for the 50 backstroke, 50 breaststroke, 50 butterfly, 50 freestyle and 100 individual medley.
Bodlorick, 10, won two events, the 50 back and 50 free for a cumulative time of 6:24.73.
