Carlin, Meyers sweep events at OAC swim meet

Bremerton/Kitsap Family YMCA swim team members John Carlin and Kellen Meyers swept their events at the Olympic Aquatic Club Summer Splash Swim meet last weekend.

Carlin won the 100-yard freestyle (57.99 seconds), 50 butterfly (30.19), 50 back (31.37) and 50 free (26.18) in the boys 11-12 year old division. Meyers won the 100 free (51.19) and 50 free (23.17) in the boys 13 & over division.

Also, Sarah Avery won the 100 free (54.84), 100 breast (1:10.29) and 200 individual medley (2:15.08) in the girls 13 & over division.
