Dear PDST Parents and Swimmers,

 

Welcome to the 2024 – 2025 season!

We’re excited to kick off another fantastic year with the PDST family! This newsletter will keep you informed about important updates and news from the Booster Club and PDST. As a welcome gift this season, all swimmers will receive a custom design PDST logo T-shirt. In keeping with our tradition, new swimmers will also receive a PDST logo swim cap and swimwear.

 

About the Pacific Dragons Booster Club (PDBC)
The PDBC is a parent-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting every swimmer on PDST. We rely on fundraising efforts and company volunteer matching programs to fund team activities such as picnics, swim meet expenses/awards, championship rewards, educational lectures, and welcome gifts. PDBC Service (Volunteering) Program / Agreement

During registration, each PDST family signed the PDBC Service Program/Agreement. Please be mindful of the required volunteer hours by group and other key details outlined in the agreement (approved by PDBC on May 31, 2024).

 

December 2024 PNS Championships reward

For the December 2024 PNS Championships, the PDBC has arranged a special order of Thermos cups and high-quality swim caps for all swimmers participating in the championships.

 

Morale Events

Monthly: The PDBC plans to host monthly morale events, including birthday celebrations for each group and a brief game organized by a coach representative.

January/February: A percentage of donations from the volunteer matching program will be returned as incentives dedicated to supporting group activities, such as trips to the Family Fun Center, ice cream socials, pizza parties, and more. The percentage returned will be determined based on the contributions of each group. 

July: The Annual Picnic Party is open to all PDST swimmers and their families.

Note: These activities are ideas currently in the planning stage and are subject to change.
