Pacific Dragons Booster Club (PDBC) September 2025 Newsletter

Erica Hsu

Dear PDST Parents and Swimmers,

Welcome to the 2025–2026 season!
We’re excited to kick off another fantastic year with the PDST family. This newsletter will keep you up to date on important announcements, events, and news from both PDST and the Pacific Dragons Booster Club (PDBC).

About the Pacific Dragons Booster Club (PDBC)

PDBC is a parent-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting every swimmer on PDST. Our funding comes from fundraising efforts and company volunteer matching programs, which allow us to provide:

  • Team activities such as picnics and morale events
  • Swim meet expenses and awards
  • Championship rewards
  • Educational lectures

If you have questions or would like to learn more about how you can help, please contact your Parent Representative via WeChat.

PDST Parents Guide

PDST Parents Guide

The Parent’s Guide is available on our website and is an essential resource for families. It covers everything you need to know—from communication, practice schedules, and swim meet guidelines to accessing meet results. Please take time to read it thoroughly.

PDBC Service (Volunteering) Program / Agreement

As part of registration, each PDST family signed the PDBC Service Program/Agreement (approved May 31, 2024). Please review the details to stay mindful of the volunteer hours required by group, as well as other key expectations.

Season-Long Volunteering Opportunities

In addition to signing up for individual events, we are now offering season-long volunteer positions with PDBC. These roles provide a great way to stay involved while fulfilling your family’s volunteer commitment:

  • Team Activity Coordinator – plans and organizes PDST events such as the annual picnic and morale activities
  • Volunteer Coordinator – organizes and assigns volunteers for swim meets
  • Meet Director – oversees the operations and administration of swim meets

If you are interested in one of these roles, please contact Coach Leon for more details.

Thank You to Our Parents

As we begin the new season, we want to express our sincere appreciation for your support and commitment. Your involvement as volunteers is vital to our team’s success and helps create a positive, memorable experience for every swimmer.

We look forward to working together and making the 2025–2026 season our best one yet!

Best regards,
Erica Hsu
