PDST swimmers selected to 2012 USA Swimming Catch the Spirit Swim Camp

As one of the top 12 PNS swimmers in their age group for the 2011-2012 shortcourse season, Pacific Northwest Swimming (PNS) has selected PDST swimmers Amber Chong, Grant Lee, Jeffrey Li, and Richard Zhang to attend the 2012 USA Swimming Catch the Spirit Swim Camp, June 16-17, 2012 to be held at the Evergreen Aquatic Center in Burien, Washington. This is a two day, overnight camp where selected swimmers will have the unique opportunity to train in a fast, competitive environment, with other top PNS swimmers. In addition to the swimming training sessions, there will also be team building activities, dry land workouts, goal setting sessions, mental preparation techniques and nutrition for high performance. The Camp will also feature two former US National Team swimmers as guest speakers who will cover topics such as: racing and mental preparation, overcoming adversity and plateaus and managing 'big meet' pressure.
