LINDSEY SEIDNER SELECTED FOR USA SWIMMING ZONE CAMP

OCA's Lindsey Seidner was one of 28 12-13 year old girls invited to USA Swimming's Western Zone Select Camp which will take place May 30-June 2, 2013 at Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ.  Lindsey was selected based on her IMX score (a measure of performance in six events) during the summer of 2012.

The Zone select camps are regional camps that serve as introductory level programming for elite athletes between the ages of 12-14. Athletes are selected and grouped according to Zone and participate in a short swimming camp that touch on all aspects of competitive swimming including technique, training and nutrition. This is the first step in USA Swimming's elite athlete development system that serves as the pipeline for the US Olympic Team.

OCA has been very involved in this camp over the last five years with Alex Hoff, Zach Wagner, and Sam Petrini invited and participating as athletes and Alice Godfred selected to the coaching staff.
