December Information
As we head into December and close out our 2025 year, we want to make sure that as a team, we keep leaning into the operating principles that make for spectacular athletes, students, swimmers, and people. This is what youth sports is all about, and why we love what we do!
We will continue to build and support our culture here in PRO Swimming using these principles that help guide our short- and long-term planning and decision making. Take a moment to go over these with your swimmers, as it is a combined effort by everyone that can really drive this!
- We are committed to sharing the values of our sport with young people who may discover that swimming is an activity they can enjoy for their entire life
- Whole heartedly support each swimmer as a well-rounded individual
- Improve through hard work, focused learning, and fun at every practice
- Work together to achieve more than possible as individuals
- Have fun supporting and being supported by teammates
- Create a space where the desire and the realization of improvement is celebrated
- Increase knowledge and awareness of each stroke and race
- We develop our swimmer's technique, competitive skills, and abilities through high quality appropriate instruction and coaching

February β As a heads up, we do NOT take off any swim time during mid-winter break in February. It is important timing in swimming training before the end of Short Course season championships in March.
- Please feel FREE to travel as a family, as we also understand how important time off can be for your family. If you are traveling during mid-winter break, just communicate with your coach directly.
March - March 30th β April 5th β We will have a 1-week break from all swimming. This is the week in between the Regional/Sectional swim meetsβ¦.and the start of our long course swim training.
- Note this break does not line up with any school spring breaks. π We will have regular practice during ALL Spring breaks that occur in April. Again β completely understand if your family is traveling during this time.
Thank you all! Happy Holidays to you and yours this season!
