Good Afternoon WEST members/supporters/parents/fans, wanted to start this WEST weekly by congratulating all 24 swimmers who competed in last week's PNS championships. It truly was a great team effort, capitalized by our 6th place finish. Of the 5 teams that beat us, 4 of those teams have 300+ members on their swim team. We were so proud of everyone. Participants included from Discover: Leo Zhang, Justin Limberg, Bryan Phung; Challenge 1: Alexa Coglas, Nicole Limberg, Annika Matthews, Nicole Limberg, Maddie Pressler, Michele Asmar, Alexis Nims, Caroline Kowalchuk, Jonathan Cook, Connor Brunke, Matthew Creagan, Edward Engel, Anthony Mikhail, Tarek Farouk, Bradley Zhao; Challenge 2: Ethan Forsberg, Ian Carpenter; Accelerate: Ashley Sawyer, Brianna Lucien, Lauren Cooley, Clara Cannon. We also had several team records set: Girls 11-12 200 medley and 400 medley relays; Boys 11-12 200 medley, 200 free and 400 medley relays; Nicole Limberg: 100 and 200 breaststroke (11-12); Maddie Pressler: 100 freestyle (11-12); and Jonathan Cook: 200 breaststroke (11-12). Tues 27th through Fri 30th: Accelerate: 8-10:45am (dryland 10-10:45), 4-6:30pm / Ch 1 & 2: 8-10am (9:15-10 dryland), 4-6pm / Discover: 6-7:30pm, Explore: 6:30-7:30pm. (Masters will go 12-2pm on Wed and Fri or they can come in during open swim anytime before 8am)
Sat 31st: New Years Eve Marathon - Accelerate: 7-11am, Ch 1 & 2: 7-10am, Discover & Explore: 10am-12pm
Sun 1st: OFF
Mon 2nd: Back to Normal
