Dear Swim Fans,
What an exciting time to be a part of WEST! We just had our second home hosted meet of the year and it was a great success. The coaching and management team would like to thank everyone for their hard work and congratulate you all on a job well-done!
Welcome Rachel and New Business Hours
Some of you have already met our new front office manager, Rachel. She is very eager to start working at WEST and we are very excited to have her as part of our management team. Please extend your warmest welcomes to her as she settles in over the next couple weeks.
In an effort to streamline operations, we will be formalizing our Front Office Business hours:
Monday through Thursday: 3pm - 7pm
Saturday & Sunday: 10am - 1pm
We will have self-help information available, but if you need to make a payment or speak specifically with someone in the office please do so ONLY during those times, otherwise email us at [email protected].
Note from President
This past weekend the team had a very successful swim meet. The kids
swam very well, and the event ran smoothly. I would like to thank all
the volunteers who came out to support our club. Without your hard
work, all the swimmers and their parents could not have enjoyed all
the great swimming. So thank you to everyone who put in many hours
before and after the meet, to everyone who worked multiple jobs, and
to everyone who came and helped even though their child did not
participate in the meet. It is this kind of selfless dedication that
will keep the West Swim Team one of the best teams in the Pacific
Northwest.

Once again our team of swimmers, coaches, officials and volunteers came together and did a super job hosting the 2012 February Invite meet. It takes so many volunteer hours to run a swim meet that the job can seem daunting but the West team consistently rises to the task and goes beyond. We receive recognition from other teams for the excellent way that we host meets and, as a team, we can take pride in that. Thank you.

Let's Get Ready to Race!
We've done the physical hard work to prepare for champs, now it is time to fine-tune our bodies and get mentally ready to swim fast. Make sure we are hydrating, eating properly and getting more than enough rest (be consistent with your sleeping habits!) so we give ourselves every opportunity to perform to our highest potential!
The kids look great in the water, we really can't wait to see everyone tear it up over these next couple weekends.
