Happy Thursday all WEST members,
Hope everyone is enjoying the warmer weather and sunshine. Want to kick off this WEST weekly with important member news.
All Member News:
As you may know by now, we have up to $20,000 in outstanding member dues! We cannot continue to operate with an outstanding balance like that. Therefore, All members that have not paid their outstanding balances by March 15th will be billed a $50.00 late fee! Those members who have children on swim team will also not be allowed to swim until their balance is paid in full. Payments can be made at the front desk or dropped off in our drop box by the pool door. If you have questions, please email the office at [email protected].
Office Hours:
We have scheduled official office hours Monday - Thursday 3-7 p.m. for questions, lessons sign ups, etc. If you cannot make it to WEST between these hours, you can make payments in the drop box after office hours.

Divisional Championships Success
This past weekend in Federal Way, a number of our swimmers participated in the Spring Divisional Championships. Everyone swam outstanding! Congratulations to those who completed a successful short course season. For others, the season will culminate at the Age Group Regional Championships March 30-April 1. Men's NCAA Championships March 23rd!
The fastest meet in the world is coming to KCAC March 22-24th. Men's Division 1 swimming championships will be in Federal Way. Rather than running practice Friday March 23rd, we feel it would be most beneficial to some of our older swimmers to watch how the big boys do it. Nick, Myself and a couple chaperones would like to take the kids down to Federal way. We would leave the WEST lot around 4:00 pm, probably returning around 9pm. All Challenge 1, 2 and Accelerate groups,Please let us know by tomorrow, Friday March 8th, if you would like to attend. If you do not let us know by tomorrow, we will just order a package of 20 tickets and take only those kids who did let us know. Tickets are $10.00 for the finals session, general admission.
MT trip
We have had very few RSVPs for the Montana trip thus far. The more numbers we get, the cheaper the trip will be. We would like to keep costs down around $300, so please, when you have an idea, please let us know.
Side Note
I'm really excited for all the kids. I've seen tremendous improvements from all the kids this year and their hard work and dedication is inspiring. Swimming truly is the hardest sport in the world and when kids succeed at it, it makes me very happy. WEST has some of the hardest working kids I've encountered in the sport, so hats off to you guys. Your future is very bright.
