Dear WEST swimmers, parents and members.

Here we go, into our second full week of the season and with our first long course meet coming up this weekend. Thanks again to everyone that participated in the various swim-a-thons that took place over the past couple weeks. We are still collecting donations and will announce the results in the near future.

Dick LaFave Meet This Weekend

We have had to update our entries based on cuts to the meet as it filled too quickly and some of our swimmers did not have the necessary qualifying time. We will notify you individually and update the entries posted to the team website (available soon).

New Group Billing

We have updated the rosters in the team billing system to coincide with the group movements. If you paid annually, we split the difference between the two training groups as we are halfway through the season.

Team Travel Meet

We have had to make a difficult decision and we will not be attending the Montana meet. Many of those that originally wanted to go have changed their minds, making the trip considerably more expensive (causing more to drop out) and we would prefer to focus our attention on a trip where more of the team can attend.

Consequently, we will plan to attend the Tri-Cities Invite in Pasco as a whole team. Please update your Meet Declaration form in the office.

Room rate for a double queen is $115/night (regular $150); a double queen suite is $125/night (regular $160). The hotel is less than 2 miles from the pool, offers complementary breakfast, and has an indoor swimming pool.

Just mention the code "CGWCA" to qualify for the discount. Rooms are on a first called first served basis. Block is for nights of May 31, June 1 & June 2. Block discount is only available by phone. Spring Awards Banquet - May 26

All WEST families are invited to attend our annual Awards Banquet Luncheon on Saturday May 26th. This year's event will be at the Old Spaghetti Factory in Lynnwood. Please see your family folder for additional information and RSVP form. Please return forms by May 6th.

Spring Yardsale - May 5th

The annual Spring Garage Sale is just around the corner on Saturday May 5. But you don't have to wait until then to do your spring clean-out. We have storage available for all donated garage sale items. Please contact Krissy Davis for additional information and to arrange a drop-off time. Volunteer sign-up sheet coming soon.
