Dear WEST swimmers, members and families,
We had a great meet last weekend at the Pacific Coast Invitational - lots of best times including several new qualifiers for Champs - great job everyone. Also, thanks again to those parents that helped time throughout the weekend.
Memorial Day Schedule Change
There will be NO practice for any swim team groups on Monday, May 28th. There will be swimming lessons and the pool will remain open for lap swim.
We will hold practice at 7-10am on Sunday for Challenge and Accelerate.
Pacso Meet - Next Weekend
Pasco Entries have been updated and posted to the website. They can be found by clicking on the Swim Team tab and then clicking the "Meet Entry and Team Stats Info" link. Friday Dinner: For those that will be in Pasco on Friday, we are planning a gathering at Kennewick City Grill following the last event of the day (400Fr). This is standard grill fare--burgers, steak, chicken--but they also have pasta, salads, sandwiches, and a variety of seafood dishes. We are working with the owner to see if they can accommodate a large group.
Saturday Dinner: If the weather is nice we will do an informal Picnic in the Park following the final event on Saturday (800Fr). Please bring whatever you would like to enjoy for dinner. If you want to pick up something to eat, Albertson's, an Oriental market, Subway, several pizza places, and many other restaurants are all within a few miles of the pool.
WEST Banquet - THIS SATURDAY 11am-1pm
IMPORTANT: Please check your family folder for your meal tickets for the Awards Banquet this Saturday 11am - 1pm at the Spaghetti Factory in Lynnwood. Please bring your meal tickets with you as this will ensure you get the meal(s) you ordered.
WEST Gear Available to Order Online Again - Act Fast!
WEST team T-shirts, polos, hooded sweatshirts and more are now available to order online! The site will only accept orders for a limited time, so please act quickly. Here are the directions on how to use the online ordering system:
1. Go to www.proimagesportswear.com/shop and click Register.
2. Accurately fill in the required Registration information.
3. If you have Registered to shop at Pro Image Sportswear previously, just Log
In using your Username and Password. Use Recover Password if you don’t
remember it all. It is case sensitive.
4. Scrolling down, you will com to “Authorization Code”. You MUST enter
your code: westcoast (all lowercase letters). Missing this step is where most
registration errors occur.
5. Once you click Submit at the bottom of the page, you should be able to see your store link in the top left menu.
Please Check Accounts & Volunteer Hours
Accounts have been updated to reflect everyone's Swim-A-Thon requirements. Also, please check your volunteer hours as these have also been updated. We would like to remind everyone that you will be charged $12 per unfulfilled volunteer hour at the end of the year. We still have LC PNS Championships to host and will need ALL HANDS ON DECK to pull off a successful meet.
Added Meet - Western Senior Zones
Because we cannot attend Senior Sectionals (PNS has scheduled Champs for the same weekend), we will plan to take a group to the Western Senior Zones in Clovis, CA on August 2-5. There are qualifying times for this meet, and is primarily a Senior Level meet (faster than PNS Champs but slightly slower than Sr. Sectionals).
