Dear WEST Swim Fanatics,
If you have been by the pool this week, you can tell that summer is here! Things are jam-packed at the pool all day long and finding an open lane for lap swim can be quite a challenge (FYI- the best time to swim is either before 7am or after 7:30pm). It's nice to see so many people around the pool and glad to be continuing to grow the greater swimming community.
Water Safety Day Recap
Thanks to everyone that participated in our first annual Water Safety Day! We had free open swim, offered some free swimming and water safety lessons and even barbecued! The turn out was great, even if the weather wasn't and helped to kick off our Extreme Week of lessons and first week of summer schedule.
Colman Bus Starting Next Week - IMPORTANT info needed by THIS FRIDAY JUNE 29
Please let Rachel know (email her at: [email protected]) if you would like to participate in the Colman bus this year. Prices are slightly higher than last year because we will only be swimming at Colman for 4 weeks. Here is the price break-down for both days at Colman:
Mondays (accelerate only) - $65 each with a minimum of 15 people participating. If 15 people do not sign up, the price increases drastically and we will have to evaluate if it is worth it.
Wednesdays (challenge & accelerate) - $28 each if we have 35 people that sign up. If only 30 people sign-up the price jumps to $32 each. If less sign up, the price increases further.
Hospitality Meeting - This Thursday 5pm
We are making some changes to our hospitality efforts at hosted meets in hopes of making our hosted meets more fun and profitable. There will be a meeting onThursday night at 5 pm for anyone interested, we would love to hear your ideas!
PNS Job Sign Ups
Please start signing up to help volunteer at PNS Champs that we are planning to host. Sign ups are available on the website under the Events tab.
