Happy Thanksgiving! Can't believe holiday season is here and championships are right around the corner. This has been a very busy week around WEST, please stay connected and don't hesitate to contact us if you have questions or concerns.
Thanksgiving Practice & Pool Schedule
Thursday - Pool Closed, No Practice
Friday - Pool Open normal hours, No Practice Explore, Discover or Pre-Comp, Accelerate/Challenge 2: 6-9am, Challenge 1: 9-11am, Masters Burn-the-Turkey: 9-11am
Important Parent Meeting - Tuesday, Nov 27, 7pm in WEST weightroom
The board will be conducting a parent meeting to answer questions and discuss our plan surrounding the recent staff changes. All are invited and encouraged to attend.
Lifeguarding & CPR Courses at WEST
We will be holding a Lifeguard Course at WEST on the following Sundays in December: Dec 2, 9, 16, 23 from 9am-2pm, the cost is $350 for non-members and $300 for WEST members. We will also be holding a CPR recert class on Dec 29-30 and the cost is $100. Please
contact the office if you are interested.
PNS Champs Entries Posted
Entries have been submitted for Husky Invite and D Champs (so cannot be changed at this time). Entries for PNS 14 & Under Champs and Senior Champs can still be updated, so please double check them (
available here) and let us know ASAP so we can get them corrected and submitted on-time.
PNS Champs Shirt
We are looking into doing a jersey for our "Champs" shirt for the upcoming December meets and want to take a poll of who is interested. The cost of the shirt will be approximately $25 each and swimmers will get to personalize them with their names and favorite number.
An example is available here. Please let coaches know by next Wednesday, Nov 28 if you are interested.
