Happy Memorial Day Weekend everyone! I can't believe May is almost over and Summer is right around the corner. Continue to stay rested as finals and end-of-the-year homework piles up. Remember to drink more water as it becomes warmer outside and we all become more active.

Good Luck WEST at Mel Zajac Invitational

Several WEST swimmers are traveling to University oif British Columbia this weekend to compete at the Mel Zajac International Invite. Several Olympians will be competing, including Ryan Lotche and Elizabeth Beisel.

NO LESSONS OR PRACTICE ON MONDAY, May 27th. Happy Memorial Day - do something fun and active outside. The pool will be open for lap swim all day. (Reminder: Tuesday is the first day of Colman Pre-Season. Accelerate and Senior parents, see below.)

Summer Schedule - Goes into Effect Wednesday June 19th (Summer Schedule has been posted to the Swim Team page on the website - Here is a direct link.)

Colman Pre-Season Starts Next Tuesday  **Attention Senior & Accelerate Groups

Senior group will practice at Colman on Tuesdays from 4-6pm and Fridays from 5-8pm (5-6pm dryland).

Accelerate group will practice on Tuesdays from 3:30-6:30pm (dryland 3:30-4).

This will allow our swimmers to take advantage of additional lane space, increasing the quality of practices. We understand that this announcement may be short notice to change carpools, so any Accelerate swimmer that cannot make the time slot can swim with Challenge during their normal practice time.

Swim-a-Thon: Continuing Collections
We are currently at $31,014! Good work, everyone. Just a couple more weeks to collect. If you have outstanding corporate matching, or donations you have entered into the system but not turned in, please take care of those this week. We will be billing any outstanding minimum due on June's statement.

If you recognize the last name "Kochly" please let the front desk know. We have an un-designated donation pending claim.

Remember, we MUST reach $50K to remodel our locker rooms. Let's work together to make this happen!

Pasco Team Dinner: June 1
If you have not yet turned in your order for the team dinner at Magill's @ Uptown on Saturday June 1, please drop those in the Forsberg Family Folder no later than tomorrow, Friday, May 24. We haven't entered anyone in the 800Fr event that evening so that everyone can attend! Order form here.

Annual Awards Banquet: June 15
Mark your calendars! We will be holding our annual awards banquet on Saturday, June 15 at 11:30am at the Old Spaghetti Factory in Lynnwood. We will wrap up no later than 1:30pm. Look for more information in next week's Weekly!

Board Update - The board has voted Rachel Wagner to fill the vacancy after reaching out to the entire team in the last WEST Weekly. We are excited for her involvement and the community perspective will be valuable to our organization. Our next public meeting is scheduled for June 4th.
