WEST Dryland Bootcamp - Now Started!
What is Dryland Bootcamp?
WEST has partnered with Engineered Sports in Everett to offer a functional strength training class. The class will focus on body awareness and strength that directly applies to swimming and everyday use of your body, as well as injury prevention.
Why is Dryland training so important?
Swimming training includes a lot of repetitive motion and it is important to balance out the muscles used primarily for swimming with muscles that don't get used as much. This helps prevent overuse injuries (the most common in swimming) and keeps you healthy and feeling great in and out of the water.
When?
Mondays and Wednesdays 8:15-9:15am in the WEST weight room.
How much?
Your first day is FREE! After that, single day drop-ins are $15.
If you sign-up for 4 weeks (or 8 classes) the price is reduced to $12 per class.
