WEST Weekly
Here we go! We are now midway through September and the kids are starting to get settled into the normal schedule.
Team Kick-Off Party 2-5pm - This Saturday, Sept 21st (Pool Closed until 5pm)
The team will host its annual start of the season party this Saturday at WEST. We ask that everyone brings an item to share, based on your last name:
A-I: Side Dish or Salad
J-O: Dessert
P-Z: Beverage
Yardsale October 5th - Help Needed!
Our annual Fall Yardsale will be the first Saturday in October. We need people to help Friday evening to set-up and price items, people to set-up and work Saturday morning during the Yardsale, and people to close at 1pm and breakdown/clean-up.
Job signups will be available online.
Officials Clinic at WEST - Sept 25th 7pm
WEST is hosting a clinic for new officials on Sept 25th at 7pm in the weight room. Anyone interested in learning more about becoming an official, please plan to attend. If you have any questions, contact Dan Limberg.
Board Of Directors Announcement
The Board has recently appointed Jeff Chow to the board. Jeff has been a big help with the recent locker room renovations and will bring valuable focus to the facility and maintenance. We are excited to welcome him on board. If anyone else is interested in joining the board, please notify a current member as we still have one spot available.
Meet Declaration Form - Please Print, Complete and Return by Friday Sept 27th
We are moving away from the "Online Meet Declarations" as the Team Unify system is confusing and full of errors.
Please print the physical Meet Declaration Form available here, clearly indicate whether you will or will not attend each meet and then return it to the office by Friday, Sept 27th. ****Please note-if you are dropping anything off at the office, outside of normal office hours, please use the locked drop-box and DO NOT leave items on the desk unattended, they will get lost. If we don't have a form for you on-file, you don't get to participate in meets.
Equipment Orders - Must be in!
We have closed the equipment orders. Anyone still needing anything should contact Liz @ Northwest Swim Shop IMMEDIATELY. We are also moving to the TYR snorkel instead of the Finis. There isn't much difference so anyone with a working Finis snorkel does NOT need to order a new one. Everyone on the team must have a snorkel, so if you don't have one, then go ahead and purchase the TYR one.
