WEST Weekly

Dear Parents, Swimmers and Club Members,

Congratulations to all swimmers that competed this weekend and thank you to all volunteers that made the WEST November AG Invite a success. The meet ran smoothly and we had some outstanding swims with many new qualifiers for PNS Champs in December.

Thanksgiving Schedule

With the holiday this week, we will operate under a slightly modified schedule:

Wednesday: Normal Schedule

Thursday: All groups and programs: OFF, Club: Closed

Friday: Masters "Burn the Turkey" 9-11am, Senior & Accelerate: 11am-2pm, Challenge 3:30-6pm, Discover & Explore: 4-5:30, Senior 2: 5:30-7:30pm.

Saturday: Normal Schedule

Next Board Meeting - Dec 5th, 2013 - 7pm at WEST

December Meet Entries Posted

We have several meets coming up in the next few weeks, be sure to check the entries to know what you are swimming. Husky Invite and Divisional Championships are the weekend of Dec 6, 7 and 8th (Divisionals is only on the 7th and 8th). PNS 14 & Under Championships is December 13th - 15th and PNS Senior Champs is December 19th - 22nd. Entries are accessed via the website by clicking the Swim Team tab and then selecting the Meet Entry Info link.

Holiday Training Schedule

I plan to release more information soon regarding our Holiday Training Schedule. Traditionally, this is a very critical time of the year for training and much of our success later in the year is determined by the work that is done between Christmas and New Years. Groups will do double practices and lots of team bonding. We encourage all that can participate to be part of the movement. Getting through this challenging training together, is what WEST is all about!
