Welcome back and we hope everyone has had a great summer so far! We are excited to reopen following our Maintenance Closure and can’t wait to get programs started again. We appreciate everyone’s patience while we’ve been closed and while we are transitioning new staff members. With Tim’s recent departure, Nick will be stepping back into the General Manager role, please email [email protected] if you have any questions, comments or concerns that Amber ([email protected]) can’t help with.
Maintenance Closure Credits:
Monthly memberships were all given a credit for their August member dues corresponding to our two week maintenance closure.
Schedule Updates:
Fall / Winter Schedule starts TUESDAY 9/5. Lap Swim, Water Aerobics, Lessons, Club Team and Rec Team will all resume.
Lap Swim Schedule:
Monday-Friday: 7am-2pm
Saturday: 2-7pm
Sunday: 10am-2pm
*Mon, Wed, Fri: limited lanes available during Water Aerobics 8-9am
*Tues, Thurs: early closure (1:45pm) on High School meet days
September Schedule Changes:
Saturday 9/23: Lap / Open Swim CLOSED
Reminder: Lap vs. Open Swim:
As a reminder, lap swim occurs during weekdays. Open swim occurs on weekends. This helps keep lanes moving especially during busy times when lap swim lanes are limited and lap swimmers need to share lanes.
Open Swim: Leisure-based swimming; For the whole family. Perfect time for swimmers to practice & play with their parents in the water. Unstructured swimming. Lap swim can take place in available lanes and the lifeguard may assist so that all swimmers can share the space.
Lap Swim: Exercise-based swimming; swimmers should be swimming laps and in lanes according to ability and speed. At busier times it may be necessary to share a lane. If you need assistance finding the best lane to share with, please don't hesitate to ask the lifeguard.
