I hope everyone made the most of the nice weather this past week! Summer will be here before we know it so start planning now. With Spring Break coming up, please note we will have a modified schedule for the first two weeks of April. 
 
Thank you WEST Volunteers!
The WEST Show Up meet was a great success; with lots of best times and new qualifying swims and we provided an end-of-season championship meet for kids who otherwise wouldn't have had the opportunity. A week before the meet we were almost 40 volunteers short but with many key individuals stepping up, we ran the meet with minimal interruption. You can feel the energy on the pool deck and watching our community come together is both exciting and special. We value everyone who helps to make WEST a better place - thank you for contributing!
 
WEST Swimmers at Senior Sectionals
Great job to everyone who competed at Senior Sectionals last weekend. We had some exciting Long Course swims with time drops, new Summer Junior Nationals qualifying swims and PNS Record. Congratulations to individual qualifiers Vyron Domingo, Hannah Fritts, Syunta Lee and Prestyn Ruijters on a successful meet!
 
Good Luck WEST Swimmers! 
This weekend WEST swimmers will be competing at NW Age Group Regionals, good luck to everyone competing and thank you parents for volunteering and supporting your swimmers. 
 
Spring Break 4/1-4/5 Weight Room / Gym Closed
We are going to be deep cleaning and reorganizing Monday-Friday during the first Spring Break week (4/1-4/5), sorry for any inconvenience. 
 
Spring Break 4/1-4/12 Increased Lap & Open Swim Times
From Monday 4/1 through Friday 4/12 we will start weekday evening Lap & Open Swim an hour early at 7pm! This is a great opportunity for kids and families to play in the pool. Please make sure to read our policy on parent coaching as no one outside of West employees are allowed to do any coaching or private lessons. 
 
Saturday 4/20 Weight Room Opens Late @ 3:30pm
We are kicking off our Swim-A-Thon fundraising campaign with a party for each club team group where the kids will write donation letters while they eat some food we provide. The weight room / gym will be open 3:30-7pm, thanks for understanding. 
 
Normal Lap Swim Schedule
Exercise-based swimming; swimmers should be swimming laps and in lanes according to ability and speed. At busier times it may be necessary to share a lane. If you need assistance finding the best lane to share with, please don't hesitate to ask the lifeguard. Upcoming changes to the normal schedule are listed below. 
 
Monday-Friday: 7am-2pm, 8:30-9:30pm
Saturday: 2:30-7pm
Sunday: 10am-2pm
*Mon, Wed, Fri: limited lanes available during Water Aerobics 8-9am
 
Normal Open Swim Schedule
Leisure-based, unstructured swimming; perfect time for families and swimmers to practice and play in the water. Lap swim can take place in available lanes and the lifeguard may assist so that all swimmers can share the space.Upcoming changes to the normal schedule are listed below. 
 
Monday-Friday: 8:30-9:30pm
Saturday: 2:30-7pm, 8:30-9:30pm
Sunday: 10am-2pm
