Potomac Valley Swimming
Level 1

The purpose of the HAC Booster Club is threefold:

1. To promote the swim team and its activities

2. To raise funds to buy equipment, pay for parties, swimmer incentives, meet entry fees, and various other items needed to maintain a successful swim team

3. To maintain and oversee a swim meet fee fund

As a member of the Commanders, you are required to pay a non-refundable HAC Booster Fee which includes the Booster Fee and a Meet Entry Fee deposit. Any unused amounts in each swimmer's Meet Entry Fee account may be carried over to the next season, but may not be refunded.

Membership in the Booster Club is automatic to all parents as long as membership fees are paid. The treasurer will have power of signatory for all funds.

What does the Booster Fee cover?

Of your annual HAC Booster Fee, $90 goes toward caps, t-shirts, and team activities. The remaining amount goes into your swimmer’s swim meet fee account. Each time your swimmer attends a meet, the meet fee is taken from your swim meet fee account.

What happens when my swimmer’s swim meet fee account hits $0?

When your swimmer has used up the funds in their swim meet fee account, you will begin to receive invoices. Invoices will be sent on the first of the month and will be due on the 20th of each month. A $10 late fee will be added if payments are not received by the 20th of each month.

How much do I owe?

This season we are giving two payment options according to your swimmer’s level of participation:

  • Payment Option 1, $90. This is for Age Group Mini and Age Group Developmental.
  • Payment Option 2, $190. This is for Age Group Bronze and any upper level swimmers who do not plan to swim more than a few meets this season. This will prevent you from having leftover funds in your swim meet fee account at the end of the season.
  • Payment Option 3, $290. This is for Age Group Silver and above.

When is payment due?

The first payment is due September 15.

How do I pay?

  • Pay by check made out to HAC Boosters and place it in the mailbox on deck at the HCC.
  • Pay via Zelle to [email protected]. Please add a 1.1% fee to your total due and put your child's name in the memo.

What happens if I haven’t paid?

Booster fees must be paid prior to registering for any swim meets. Please note that swimmers who have a past due balance from a previous season must also resolve that payment before registering for any new meets. You can check your balance by logging into SportsEngine, click My Account, click Invoices & Payments.

What if I have leftover swim meet fee money from last season?

Unused swim meet fee money will carry over into next season.
