Open to all new and returning families and swimmers

REQUIREMENTS​​

We accept children up to age 18 and all skill levels. Swimmers must be able to swim the length of the pool unaccompanied to be able to participate in swim meets.

PRACTICE
Team practices are tailored to fit the needs of the swimmer. They are designed for children who are beginners as well as those who have more experience. The coaches are supportive and focus on proper form and increased endurance. 

• Evening practices (Monday - Thursday) begin *TBD 2026
  • Novice swimmers 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
  • Intermediate and advanced swimmers 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
• Morning practices (Monday - Friday) begin *TBD 2026
  • Intermediate and advanced swimmers 9:00 am - 11:00 am

Swimmers will be evaluated at the beginning of the season to determine their appropriate practice group.

Team Costs and Additional Team Info

• ​Swim meets are the following Saturday mornings:  Saturday 14 June (HOME), Saturday 21 June  (HOME), Saturday 28 June (@ Westlake Village), Saturday 5 July (@ Fort Washington), Saturday 12 July (@ Accokeek), Divisionals is Saturday 19 July (HOME), and All Stars is Saturday 26 July (@Whitehall). ​ See the Events section at the bottom of the Home page for more information.
• ​Cost to join - $105 for first child plus the cost to join Brandywine Station Pool.
• ​Pool fees -  At least one adult and all of your swimmers must register for pool membership to participate on the team.  Pool membership registration for you, your swimmers and other family members is onsite at the front desk. Fees 2025 Season:  $250 ($225 senior) for first adult and $50 for each additional family member. 
• ​Each family will participate in fundraising activities.  Fundraising this year includes a spare change drive, 50-50 raffles at our home swim meets, a lap-a-thon and the summer sizzler swimvitational meet.
• ​Swimmers must attend a minimum of 3 practices a week.
• ​Uniform for swimmers:

• Every family is welcome to participate in Late Night Swims.  Example events include:  
  • Bingo
  • Movie Night
  • Craft Night
  • Tie Dye
  • Lip Synch Battle and so much more!​ 
• ​​​All communications will take place via Team Unify and team text reminders.
• ​Parents are required to attend parent meetings and volunteer at swim meets.​  Volunteer positions include:
  • Timers
  • Clerk of Course
  • Stroke and Turn*
  • Starter/Referree*
  • Runner
  • Ribbon writer
  • Concessions

*Some volunteer positions require League training.  League training this year will be offered virtually.
