Welcome to the HRST Piranhas!

We are a recreational, summer swim team made up of two clubs--Hollow Rock and Stoneridge/Sedgefield. Our team includes 150+ swimmers (ages 5-18) and a staff of veteran coaches & junior coaches, many of whom grew up with our team. Our team's goal is to provide a safe & fun learning environment where young swimmers of all abilities can build skills, improve fitness, make friends and enjoy being on a co-ed, multi-age team. We use every opportunity to have older swimmers connect to the younger kids, and we're growing our junior coaching program to facilitate those relationships.

In 2018, 2022 and 2023, we won the CHSSL Sportmanship Award at CHAMPS.  This award is voted on by all the Parent Reps in the Chapel Hill Summer Swim League.  Thanks to all our swimmers, parents, coaches and volunteers who show great sportsmanship in the pool and on the deck.  Go Piranhas!
