2025 AAU Information for CMSL Teams

 

  • CMSL will be obtaining a league sanction from AAU for the 2025 season. 
  • AAU insurance covers liability and supplemental insurance for injuries.  COVID is considered an illness and is not covered by AAU insurance.  AAU will not accept any COVID related claims.
  • Teams that anticipate hosting a meet at their pool will be required to purchase a level 2 membership and will be required to obtain individual sanctions from AAU for each event. Events not listed on the CMSL schedule of events will NOT be covered under the 2025 CMSL sanction.

NOTE: Results from events that are not conducted under the CMSL league sanction will not be valid for CMSL statistics, qualifications or records.

 


 

2024 AAU Membership Information

 

CLUB MEMBERSHIP-LEVEL 1

  • Eligible to participate in events
  • Eligible to apply for practice insurance certificate
  • $30.00 - Youth Club Per Membership Year
  • $50.00 - Adult Club or Both Youth and Adult  Club Per Membership Year

CLUB MEMBERSHIP-LEVEL 2

  • Eligible to participate in events
  • Eligible to apply for practice insurance certificate
  • Eligible to apply for a license to host an event
  • Eligible to use the AAU logo & Name in AAU licensed events
  • $60.00 - Youth Club Per Membership Year
  • $80.00 - Adult Club or Both Youth and Adult Club Per Membership Year

NOTE:  Any team that wishes to host an event and would like to schedule a paid official will need to contact the Maryland Officials Club directly to arrange for a paid official or, optionally, have a USA Swimming certified or YMCA certified official supervise the meet.

 


 

AAU BULK Registration and AAU BULK Verification

 

  • AAU provides the ability to register and verify athletes using a specific csv file format.  Instructions and file formats are available from the bulk registration and bulk verification links on the AAU site.  For teams using HyTek Team Manager, AAU provides the ability to bulk register swimmers exported from TM using a specific athlete report csv export format.  For instructions on preparing your export and bulk registering, click the links below:

AAU Insurance Reporting and Claim Forms

 

 

NOTE: The AAU incident reporting form is used to notify AAU of any injuries that could potentially result in the filing of an insurance claim with AAU.  The incident reporting form is not an insurance claim form, but it must be submitted prior to submitting an insurance claim form (the incident reporting form needs to be returned to AAU).
