- Do you have neighbors who might be interested in joining? Word of Mouth is our number one way of finding new members. - Trivia: Did you know that www.OwenBrownSwimTeam.com goes to the same place as www.OwenBrownBarracudas.com? It might sound silly, but new potential families will sometimes have trouble remembering our mascot (or how to spell "barracuda") and may find the former website easier than the latter. Please feel free to use them interchangeably!

- June 12 - Red Robin Fundraiser/Dine-Out
- For all three events, just dine out during their business hours and present the flyer to your server and the business will donate a portion to our team. You get a night out, the team gets cool stuff. It's win/win! We will send more details about each of these events as they get closer. And remember, if you miss an email, you can always find details about these in the EVENTS tab of our website and app.
Manager Muscle: As you may be aware, we are short a manager this year (normally there are three, including concessions.) In addition to being short staffed, Jean-Marie and Katy are also both dealing with physical issues which prohibit heavy lifting, so they will need extra help setting up and breaking down (not just for concessions but also for the meet particulars such as table placements, chair lines, extra tents, speakers, boxes, etc.) For this reason we will be adding several helper jobs to the volunteer sheet this year. Thank you for understanding. (And if you have any interest in being our third manager next year, please, please let us know! Our current managers currently plan to stay-on next year, but could really use a third person and would love to have you shadow them this year to learn the ropes!)
Other Volunteer Jobs: We hope to have some dates soon for those who wish to attend training/refresher sessions for data/scoring or who are required to recertify (officials/refs/starters/judges). We are thankful to you for volunteering, and we will give you dates as soon as we have them.
