Go You Mighty 'Cudas!

See You Next Year!

Elizabeth Heerdt

Cuda Fam,

It's been one heck of a season!

- We had brand new swimmers who not only made it through the season but swam their best times and medaled at All-City.

- We had returning swimmers who arrived on the scene ready to swim, braved the cold first weeks, and made it their best season yet!

- We welcomed back coaches Ryan and Nick, and were happy to welcome new coaches Lexi and Hannah (who've been Cudas for years already) who all worked their hardest to make this season fun and memorable for all their students.

- We welcomed new manager Lizzie as Communications Manager, and started the search for the next fearless Volunteers Manager to replace Katy in 2027. If this is a position you feel you would be interested in learning more about, please reach out to the managers. We look forward to the next member joining our team!

- We started a new fund: Cudas Helping Cudas!! Next season, the Barracudas look forward to being able to provide some assistance to families who could use an extra hand with registration costs, swimsuits, etc... Stay tuned for further opportunities to help us fundraise throughout the off season so we can help as many families as possible!

- Our charity night raised $1000 for the Howard County Food Bank, thanks in large part to the enthusiastically-pied coaches!

- We successfully hosted 2 meets, and look forward to hosting 3 next year!

- Our amazing team of volunteers in data, officiating, timing, reffing, deck wrangling, ribbons, concessions, set up and tear down... ALL of you made this season run so well; a heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who took time out of your weekend to make sure these meets happened. We couldn't have had this season without you!

This team really is such a wonderful family-community, with friendships made and memories shared. We will miss you in the off season, and we look forward to seeing you all back for Summer in 2026!!
