"I have always had a special place in my heart, looking forward to the beginning of the season all year round. This team has been a building block for who I am today. Learning to high five the person in the lane next to me even if we aren’t on the same team and cheering for all my peers. From successfully diving over the pool noodle to remembering to touch with 2 hands. Dolphins is the foundation to my sportsmanship and the key to my love for the sport of swimming. Having the opportunity to go through all the stages of dolphins has been one of the best decisions I have ever made as I get to put in the work as an athlete while understanding the work that the coaches put in for the swimmers. I am honored to have been chosen to receive such an award and can not wait to see what the team does next!
This team has helped to create friendships that I have had since I can remember including my previous coaches. I hope I can be a friend to my swimmers as my friends and coaches are for me."
