What an AMAZING week. Thanks to all of the swimmers and families who came out today for the relay carnival. Barrington came in 2nd in the Division and was only 2 POINTS away from taking home the title of Gold Division relay champs! Several new records were broken this week!!! At Monday night's IM carnival (7/7/2025), Charlie Carnaggio took down yet another one of Brandon Fabians records with a new Short Course Meter record in the 11-12 100 IM. CONGRATULATIONS to our record breakers. A new team of Laura Nguyen, Charlie Carnaggio, Connor Smetek and Grace Daley broke the Mixed Age Mixed Gender 200 Yard Medley record that had just been set the week before, with a new time of 2:12.68.

CONGRATULATIONS again to Charlie Carnaggio who broke the 14 year old 50 Meter Breaststroke record on Wednesday night at Burke Centre. Brandon Fabian set that record in 2011 with a time of 40.32, Charlie's new record time was 38.91.

**CONGRATULATIONS** to the 200 Medley Mixed Age Mixed Gender relay team of Adriana Zakaryan, Charlie Carnaggio, Sadie Castleman and Owen Hill for breaking the short course yards team record with a time of 2:13.69. This new record replaces the record of 2:15.68 set just last year!

A BIG CONGRATULATIONS to Charlie Carnaggio! Charlie not only broke the Barrington the 11-12 50 Yard Free record but the CSL record with a time of 24.64. The pool record was last set in 2011 by Brandon Fabian (24.95) and the CSL record was set in 2017 (24.80) by McGarth Mash (who we learned today is actually still coaching in the CSL for the AKC Holy Mackerels).
