The Sequoia Farms Community Swim Team

Below is a listing of all the volunteer jobs that are needed to run a successful meet. Please note that when you volunteer for one of these jobs, you must check in with the subcommittee lead prior to your job in order to receive credit. You must work the entire shift of your job for credit, unless you receive prior approval from the Volunteer Coordinator. If something comes up that prevents you from working the meet, we ask that you find a replacement.

Set up:  For Saturday A meets, come to the pool at closing the Friday evening before the swim meet (8:00 in June, 9:00 in July), and set up for the meet.  For B meets, come to the pool before warmups at 4:00 pm the day of the meet.  Setup involves setting up lounge chairs for spectators, setting up Clerk of Course chairs, roping off team areas, setting up chairs for swimmers preparing for events, and whatever else is needed.
