Swim Across America is super fun and rewarding open water event (with lots of distance options: ½ mile, 1 mile and 2 miles) that raises money for cancer research and treatment at the Baylor Sammons Center at Dallas. This is the first time we’ve created a local team made up of our awesome Torpedoes swimmers, parents, and coaches, and our goal is to raise as much money as possible to help find a cure for cancer.

The Dallas area swim event is September 14, but now is the time to register + to start fundraising. Please make sure when you sign up that you join the Bridlewood Torpedoes Team!

Visit our SAA team page, and click on the Join Team button. Click Join as a New Participant if you or your swimmer have never participated. If you have participated in SAA before, simply login into your account. Every participant will receive an SAA cap, T-shirt, and towel. The cost to register is $75 (increases to $100 August 10), and every participant must meet the SAA fundraising minimum (under 18 + college undergrad students = $200 and for all other over 18 = $500). Registration fees apply toward the minimum fundraising goal.
