| FAQ about Decatur County Tiger Sharks
- Does my child have to practice every day?
- No, practice times are available but there is no penalty for not attending. We understand that you have school, other commitments or priorities. Improvement comes more quickly with more time spent in the water though.
- Does my child swim every meet?
- You choose which meets you want to attend. If your child wants to swim, we'll find races for them.
- What if my child isn’t a strong swimmer?
- Our goal is for everyone to improve during the season. You don’t have to be the fastest swimmer to have fun, improve, and be a part of the team. We have added to our coaching staff to help accommodate more beginners.
4. How long and when are swim meets?
- Meets are during the week in June, starting at 6 PM. A typical meet lasts 2.5 hours.
