Owen Wickman Varsity Assistant Coach

Coach Owen Wickman is returning for his 4th year with NFHS Swim & Dive. He is an NFHS alumnus and a graduate from the University of South Carolina! He could not be more excited about the opportunity to continue working at North and coaching the swim team! Coach Wickman swam competitively from 6th through 12th grade and was the school's 100yd butterflier during his time as a NFHS student. His degree from UofSC was in Linguistic Science, and his passions include conlanging, semiotic research, video games, and, of course, swimming. Coach Wickman looks forward to working with the NFHS swim team again this year, which holds a very special place in his heart.

Abby Smith Dive Coach

My name is Coach Abby Smith and I am the Varsity Dive coach! This is my 2nd year coaching diving at NFHS.

Casey Skeggs Varsity Head Coach, JR Raider Head Coach

My name is Casey Skeggs and this is my 3rd year coaching with North Forsyth. I am the Junior Raiders Head Coach and a Varsity Assistant Coach. I swam for 12 years before becoming a swim coach. I swam club for 10 years and was a part of my high school team (Tift County) where I was 3-time region champion in the 100 backstroke and 4-time region champion in the 500 freestyle. When it was time for college, I swam at a Junior College, South Georgia State College (SGSC) in Douglas, GA, where I graduated with an Associate's Degree in Elementary Education. While at SGSC, I swam the 100 back, 500 free,  1,000 free, and the mile. In my sophomore year, I broke the 100 back record with a 59.51.  Then in 2019 I moved to Athens, Ga to attend The University of Georgia where I earned my Bachelor's and Master's degree in Elementary Education.

After swimming for two years, I decided it was time to move on because of the rigorous education program. I went home to Tifton, Ga for the summer and coached for my former year-around team, fell in love with coaching and got a job in Athens coaching with the Athens Bulldogs Swim Club. I stayed with ABSC for 3 years where I made my way up to being a head developmental coach. I mostly worked with younger swimmers, but my background in the developing strokes will be beneficial to North Forsyth's and our Junior Raiders program. I am extremely excited to be a Raiders coach!!
