Swim Meets

Make sure to double-check the team website or calendar before events as schedules can change occasionally.

For home meets, your athlete will arrive early to help with pool set up and warm up for their events. Athletes are also responsible for staying to take down the pool after home meets. Athletes will ride the bus from school to the away meets. If you intend to bring your athlete home from an away meet, you must notify the coach before leaving. For all meets, make sure your athlete brings dinner or healthy snacks since meets tend to finish late (around 8:30 or 9:00 p.m. for dual meets).

Admission costs for adults are $8.00, students $4.00, and those 60+ are free to get into meets for Anoka Hennepin. You can purchase a punch pass at the high school if you wish. Volunteers at home meets will get free admission.

Invitational meets are typically Varsity-Only events. If the coaching staff feels the team and individual will benefit from participating, the athlete will be asked to participate in that specific invitational.

Busing to Away Meets

Away meet drop-offs and pick-ups will take place at Edgewood Middle School outside the activities entrance. Watch for the head coach’s emails, which will also include bus departure information.

Athletes should arrive 10-15 minutes before the scheduled departure time. Buses leave on time and will not wait for late athletes.

The boys team provides a light meal on the way to away meets, but althletes may bring their own snacks. We recommend you bring a snack for the bus ride home from away meets as they tend to finish late.
