Tiny Twister Gymnastics
Our preschool program is for children ages 3 to 5. We offer classes on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays. In the preschool program, classes are based on age groups. We keep a low gymnast to coach ratio so that we may provide the most attention to your child. As skills are taught we may then offer advancement to higher skill groups. We want our preschoolers to learn basic gymnastics, as well as develop social and physical skills appropraite to their age level!
Girls Recreational Gymnastics
Our girls rec program is for children ages 5+ (we usually start this class once they are in kindergarten). We offer classes on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays. In the rec program, classes are based on age groups and skill level. We keep a low gymnast to coach ratio (no more than 6:1) so that we may provide the most attention to your child. In these classes, we will focus on the main girls events- vault, uneven bars, balance beam, and floor exercise. We use drills and conditioning to build the strength and technique needed to learn the skills. As your child improves, they may be moved up to a higher level class. We keep the focus on safely learning skills, and we know that to do this, it takes time! Be patient and keep working hard, and those skills will come!
Competetive Gymnastics
Our East Texas Twisters competition team is an invite only program, beginning with a pre-team class and moving into a 2 or 4 day per week training program with travel meets. If you are interested in your child participating in competetive gymnastics, let your coaches know and sign up for an evaluation during the next recruiting period!
