Crimson boys take second at True Team

The Maple Grove boys swim and dive team, thanks to scoring a wildcard spot, took second at the Section 5AA True Team meet last Saturday in Spring Lake Park.

Among some of the top events, junior Gerrit Riekels took first in the 100-yard butterfly and 100-yard backstroke. Senior captain T.J. Palli took first in the 100-yard freestyle and junior Logan Cyr came out on top for the 500-yard freestyle. The relay team made up of Cyr, sophomore Thomas Botkin, Riekels, and Palli also took first in the 400-yard freestyle relay.
