You can join our team starting in 7th grade! Beginning swimmers will work on building up their endurance in a supportive and fun team environment!

 

Checklist to Join:

 

Step 1: Register in Edutrak

Register for MGSH Boys Swimming (26MG-SPORT-WN-SWIM - MGSH Boys Swim) with the school at EduTrak. This MUST be done to get in the water.

​Step 2: Register with the Booster Club.

All families need to register with the Booster Club. You do NOT need to have the physical to proceed with this step. This will give you members only access to the schedule, coaches information, meet results, team email announcements, team suits and apparel, awards and recognition, and more. This is also where parents will sign up to volunteer for committees and meets.

Start with: "Sign In" (upper right corner of this page - can open a new window)

  • Existing Families - Log into Team Unify (Verify e-mail addresses and phone numbers!) and go to My Account/Team Registration
  • New Families - Click "Sign In" and "Create Account", then "Continue to Registration" to create an account and get to registration.

> SportsEngine Motion is the app that Team Unify utilizes if you would like to have access on your phone. Families have one login e-mail that serves as the username and one password. Families can share this username and password with all members to access their one family account in Team Unify.

Pay the Booster Club $100 Fee through Go Motion team website (and make deposit for deck jacket/parka rental for season). You can pay online by November 30th. After that, contact the Booster Club Treasurer for payments. If there are financial difficulties, please contact treasurer. Click Here!

Please pay the $100 booster fee promptly. We rely on this for:

  • a banquet dinner for each athlete and coaches
  • rewards and recognition for our swimmers, coaches and graduating seniors
  • electronic equipment to record and stream meets
  • equipment/supplies needed by the coaches and managers
  • software/hardware to run our meets and team operations
  • website/electronic payments

Step 3: Order uniform for Meets by Sunday November 16th from Elsmore Swim Shop 

  • 1 Team T-shirt (red) is required for all athletes - Last names are REQUIRED
  • Swim Caps (black) - Last names only, NO nicknames please!
  • Swim Brief or Jammer (Speedo brand - MG Logo, black/red)
    • Visit the Elsmore store in Minnetonka if you need to try on suits for correct sizing (11323 MN-7, Minnetonka, MN 55305)
    • Suits are non-refundable!
  • Black jogging shorts - can order from Elsmore to have MG logo, or can use any black shorts
  • Deck Jacket (Swimmers)/ Parka (Divers) - can either purchase from Elsmore or can rent from Booster Club (more details below)
  • Other gear, including parent fan wear (gray t-shirt), is optional. Please do NOT order the season red t-shirt for fan gear! The red is for athletes only.

When checking out, select pick up in store. Boosters will receive the delivery and distributed to the boys at practice first week of December.

Please note:

  • Swimmers can check out a deck jacket for the season with a $85 deposit. When it is returned in good condition, a $75 refund will be issued at the end of the season. Jackets will be distributed at practice and athletes can select their size.
  • Divers can check out a diving parka for the season with a $110 deposit. When it is returned in good condition, a $100 refund will be issued at the end of the season. Parkas will be distributed at practice and athletes can select their size at that time.
  • For practice, bring googles, suit, cap and towel (a back-ups are recommended!) They cannot practice in their meet uniforms. Fins & pull buoys can be provided for practices as needed.
