Championship Season (Section)
The Minnesota State High School League sponsors a tournament dividing schools by size and location. Due to its size, the Crimson is AA and moves sections every couple of years. For the 2022-23 season we will be part of Section 5AA.
The Section Tournament determines which team wins the section trophy and which individual and relay swimmers advance to the State Tournament held at the U of M. The top two individual swimmers in each event and the top four divers advance to the State Tournament. In addition, swimmers can qualify for the State Tournament by meeting a state standard time.
Section 5AA teams: Champlin Park, Irondale, Maple Grove, Park Center, Robbinsdale Armstrong, Spring Lake Park, Wayzata.
